Will the full game continue your demo progress?

No. The November 3 demo release announcement explicitly separates the demo save from the full game and says progress does not transfer. The demo store page repeats that boundary.

Plan a demo session as a preview of the opening systems, rather than an advance full-game save. Completing its vault or investing in every available upgrade does not establish a head start in the final release. The full game remains a separate, unreleased Steam product when checked on November 7.

Do you need to reset a save to fix money at the stairs?

The November 7 developer patch addresses money caught around the lobby stairs and says its fix applies automatically to existing saves. That does not support deleting your save, starting over, or manually moving money data to receive this particular correction.

Let Steam finish any pending demo update, then check the affected situation again. If it remains, note exactly where the money is and whether the behavior matches the reported stair case. Use the patch and bug-report guide for the official reporting route. The announcement is not a promise to repair every corrupted or missing save.

Where are the local save files and is Steam Cloud supported?

We have not verified a local save path, file format, slot count, autosave schedule or Steam Cloud synchronization behavior. The Steam listing’s Save Anytime accessibility label is not a technical specification for any of those systems.

Do not guess a Unity save directory from another game, use a registry-cleaning recipe, or copy a stranger’s files over your own progress. If you already have a backup workflow, preserve its existing copies before troubleshooting. This guide does not identify a folder that can safely be deleted.

For an unexplained loss of progress, record:

• Whether you launched the demo app or another product.
• Whether the last session was solo or co-op, including who hosted.
• The last visible save or quit prompt you used, if any.
• What progress is missing and any error message shown.

Keep personal account information and save files out of public posts. Start with the game’s reporting controls and the current developer Discord linked in the patch guide; do not assume a public comment is a private support upload.

Does a co-op session change the transfer rule?

No published source establishes such an exception. The no-transfer statement covers the demo. Separately, current co-op save ownership and host-migration behavior are still unverified; the co-op guide keeps those questions distinct from the confirmed player count.

Use the Demo goal checker for the relevant boundary, or return to the demo’s known progression if you are deciding how much of the preview to complete.
