SHRED A BILLION PC Requirements and Controller Support

Compare the listed Windows minimum and recommended PC specifications, check controller and language labels, and understand unverified device support.

What PC specifications does Steam list?

The official full-game page and demo page list the following requirements when checked on November 7. They describe the supported target and component tiers; this site has not benchmarked the game.

Component Listed minimum Listed recommended
Operating system 64-bit Windows 11 64-bit Windows 11
Processor Intel Core i7-4790K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Memory 8 GB RAM 16 GB RAM
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
DirectX Version 11 Version 11
Storage 1 GB available space 1 GB available space

Compare both your processor and graphics card, not just installed RAM. A match to this table does not promise a particular resolution, frame rate or freedom from bugs. The storage entry is the vendor’s listed requirement, not a measured download size or a guarantee that no temporary update space is needed.

Is there a way to try it before the full release?

Yes: the playable demo is a separate Steam app. Follow the demo starting guide to avoid opening the unreleased full product by mistake. Trying the demo can help you assess your own setup, but it cannot establish the final version’s performance before that version exists.

Keep the demo’s content limits in mind when testing. Missing full-game tools are not a graphics or installation fault.

What does full controller support mean here?

Steam lists full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense controller categories. That is a capability listing, not a verified button-by-button guide for every device or wireless configuration. We have not confirmed the current remapping interface, advanced haptics, Bluetooth behavior or an exact connection recipe.

Use the actual prompts shown by your installed demo for controls. If an input or menu fails, record the controller model, connection method, session type and what the prompt does. Use the official bug-reporting route instead of applying another game’s settings or disabling unrelated system protections.

Are Steam Deck, Linux and Mac supported?

The fetched platform metadata lists Windows. We have not verified native Mac or Linux support, Steam Deck certification or Proton compatibility. A controller label does not establish any of those results, and a Windows component table is not a compatibility test for another operating system.

If your device depends on an unverified setup, do not treat this page as confirmation that it will work. Check the current Steam product information and official community reports before committing to a full-game purchase.

Which languages and online features are listed?

Steam lists 30 languages, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Russian. The language listing does not establish full voice acting in every language. Check the actual interface, subtitle and audio columns for the language you need.

The dated co-op announcement is the better source for current demo party support; technical requirements do not establish crossplay or connection reliability. For unknown device features, save handling or a quick version decision, use the Demo goal checker and the save-transfer guide.

Evidence checked November 7, 2026. Listed hardware requirements may change; no hardware, controller, cloud save or network setup was tested during this site’s research.
