SHRED A BILLION Demo Update: Stuck Money and Bug Reports
Match your symptom to the November 7 demo fixes, preserve existing progress, and report unresolved jetpack, stairs or new-area problems clearly.
What does the November 7 demo update fix?
The developer’s demo update, published November 7, 2026 at 01:48 UTC, identifies five specific corrections. Match the affected situation before treating the patch as an answer to your own problem.
| Situation described by the developer | Announced correction | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Money caught around the lobby stairs | The affected patch is removed and landing bills move down the stairs | Existing saves are included automatically; no reset is requested |
| A pushed friend’s jetpack remains suspended | It should move down with that player | This is the described interaction, not every co-op physics problem |
| First-person sleeves use the wrong outfit colour in co-op | Sleeve colours should reflect the outfit | It is a visual fix, not a new clothing unlock guide |
| Jetpack movement lifts the player into ceiling beams or lamps | That collision behavior is addressed | It does not establish a new flight route or unlimited reach |
| Invisible support above the shredder | The collision shape is adjusted to the object | It does not explain every platform or area-unlock notification |
Allow Steam to finish a pending demo update, then revisit the affected situation. Do not assume the announcement proves which build is installed on your PC. We have not reproduced these cases in game or verified that every player’s report is resolved.
Should you delete a save or restart the entire demo?
Not for the documented stair fix: the announcement says existing saves are handled automatically. Preserve your current progress instead of following a generic reset instruction. The save guide distinguishes this correction from the separate no-transfer rule for the full release.
If the problem is instead that a tool will not unlock, first compare the current demo’s progression scope. The same patch says the shovel, vacuum, mining drones and deeper vault levels remain in development for the full game. Their absence from regular demo progression is not itself proof of a bug.
Where do you report a problem that remains?
The developer gives F11 in game and REPORT A BUG in the pause menu as reporting entry points. The current announcement also links the game’s Discord. This site does not send a report for you or guarantee a reply.
A useful report should let someone distinguish your case from a known fix:
- State that you are using the demo, and whether you are alone or in co-op.
- Describe the location and the last few actions before the issue appeared.
- Include the exact message or a screenshot that shows the remaining object, obstruction or notification.
- Say whether a pending Steam download had completed before you checked again.
Avoid posting private account details, passwords or save files in a public channel. If a support flow asks for files, confirm who receives them and what they contain before submitting them.
What is the platform above the radio or the new unlocked area?
A public player question asks about a new-area notification and the platform above the radio. At our source check, it had no verified answer. The patch’s shredder-collision fix does not identify that platform, and the full-game Golden Reserve description does not prove that the notification leads there.
Keep the location and notification as evidence and use the reporting route above if you are blocked. We cannot provide a confirmed destination, trigger or route yet. The Demo goal checker keeps this result explicitly unresolved.
For a normal end-of-demo question rather than a suspected bug, see the bundle-clearing and vacuum ending. Sources checked November 7, 2026; later fixes or an official answer to the area question will trigger a review.
